CLIRA
Depending on your definition of regional, between 25% and 35% of Australians live in regional Australia. Despite this, traditional media outlets – radio, television, printed media and others – continue to focus a disproportionate amount of their time, energy and resources on satisfying the 70% of Australians who live in and around the big cities.
And that is why we established CLIRA – Celebrating Life In Regional Australia.
We want to create a platform that focuses disproportionately on the 25% to 35% who enjoy life outside of the big smoke.
Initially, we will focus our attention on developing podcasts for regional audiences … and for those city-dwellers who want to understand how the other half live.
In time, though, we will broaden our focus towards written stories, video podcasts and a range of other activities that allow us to Celebrate Life In Regional Australia.
